Dr. Bernard's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Bernard "I grew up in Wall and Spearfish, South Dakota, and was thrilled at the opportunity to begin practice close to home after completing residency in Colorado. I joined the Ophthalmology Department at Rapid City Medical Center in 2000 and I cannot imagine being anywhere else. I treat a broad spectrum of eye problems with special interests in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and a variety of eyelid disorders. I have to look at the patient's overall health, so the nice thing about Rapid City Medical Center is that we have access to a wide range of specialties. We are able to care for all of our patients' medical needs seamlessly. I have four daughters and a husband who keep me very busy. As a family, we like to go snow skiing, camping and mountain biking. I also enjoy practicing yoga."
