Dr. Baumgartner has horrible bedside manners. He is also negligent with patient follow up and will blame his entire staff before taking responsibility for his own negligence. Dr. Baumgartner did not notify me until eight months after my surgery that a tumor he removed was cancerous. By the way, the biopsy prior to surgery showed that the tumor was benign so I was in shock when I received a certified letter in the mail from Dr. Baumgartner eight months later telling me that I had cancer.

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
