What People Say About Dr. Fredric Schoen, MD

I saw him for a new diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia. He put me on carbamazepine. I am on levoxyl for hypothyroidism. I discovered there is severe drug interaction between both drugs. When I asked him about the interaction said he had no knowledge of it. I showed him the information on google! Google! He said "Oh, I did not know that". I then asked him how he had treated other patients who had TN and hypothyroidism and he said, "I put them on anti-depressants". I left the practice.

Not Dr. Schoen directly but the practice itself. They DO NOT call back in a reasonable amount of time. Always have to leave a message and 2 days later they call you back. My father was experiencing hallucinations and after an ER visit and the ER doctor calling the Neurology Associates, the previous day I left 3 messages with not even a single call back. Then to find out Dr. Schoen was on vacation for another 3 days ! Poor poor customer service.
