Wish there was a #10 rating.
I went into the clinic in a good bit of pain and every staff member was sympathetic, patient and very efficient in their job. Once Dr. Flandry came in the room things moved so quickly I could see relief on the way. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for all they did the day of my visit. What a great doctor and he has surrounded himself with those with his same compassion and effectiveness. Thanks so much.

I was referred to Dr. Flandry after an accident 1 year previously in which my injury was misdiagnosed. He introduced himself and asked what was going on. He had images in front of him but wanted a brief explanation of my symptoms. He asked if anyone had ever explained my situation to me. I said no. He talked me through it in a respectful manner. I asked what was next and he presented me with a treatment plan. I asked a few questions and he wrapped it up. I did not feel dismissed or talked down to; which is important to me. When he said goodbye he added, we’re going to help with your pain. Finally! A doctor who took me seriously. I felt heard. With surgeons, I keep it short and factual. Additionally, I listen carefully and take notes if needed. I always have questions but try to be very clear and concise. He is not the first surgeon I’ve had a great experience with in this clinic. I had successful surgery with his colleague.

I am a nurse and worked with Dr. Flandry for over 25 years at Hughston Orthopedic Hospital. I chose him for his surgical expertise and years of successful outcomes with complicated cases. Feeling safe and knowing I was in good hands was a relief at a most stressful time. I recommend him to everyone that asks for my opinion.

Appointments and Surgery
ALL the staff at the clinic and Jack Hughston Hospital were very courteous, helpful and actually seemed to be happy to help whether you asked for help or not. Even staff just walking by and noticed you might need some help with something. And they ALL had smiles on their faces. I will definitely use them again for my future surgeries. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at all. Thank you Dr. Flandry with my surgery needs at this time.

Dr Flandry, Dr. Wall and nursing staff
My visit was phenomenal. Dr. Flandry and his staff were extremely professional, nice and caring. I have known Dr. Flandry for 21 years. He is my families super hero doctor. He has treated my daughter and I as well as my deceased husband. I highly recommend him. During my most recent procedure, Dr. Flandry and his staff took extremely great care of me, they explained everything to me and made sure that I understood. I had to have another procedure after my initial surgery and I was scared and became upset. My nurse Brittney stayed with me while the charge nurse got Dr. Flandry. These two nurses were my guardian Angels. Dr. Wall, the Anesthesiologist was so caring and made me feel so comfortable. Even with having two procedures in one day, I am truly blessed to have such a great team of professionals that cared for me. I just want to say thank you to all of these great people.

I am currently 7weeks post-op for a lateral release reversal, scar tissue and adhesion removal, patellar tendon repair, quad tendon repair and Dr. Flandry had to go up into my thigh, pull 3 of my quad muscles down back into place, layer and suture those muscles into their correct position then connect those muscles to my new quad tendon made from a cadaver achilleas tendon. Needless to say my surgery was extensive and I'm still not allowed to bear my full weight on my leg. Dr. Flandry and his resident said they have never seen a case like mine and they hope to never see it again. Dr. Flandry's reputation proceeds him and I will be forever grateful for his level of expertise in his field. I would recommend him to anyone that has an issue that no other Doctor can seem to treat. Flandry has been very strict with my post-op instructions to myself and my physical therapy team. I have a long road to recovery(4yrs) and I look forward to seeing Dr. Flandrys hard work pay off.

Just returned home from surgery with Dr. Flandry. While I can't say surgery is an enjoyable experience I can say that Dr. Flandry and his staff are excellent. The procedure and what to expect were fully explained and I felt comfortable in knowing I was in good hands. Each and every member of his staff and the staff at Hughston Hospital were wonderful. Cannot thank these people enough.

He doesn't visit you in the hospital (other reviews mention the same problem). Pleas through his fellow to visit me to answer serious questions fell on deaf ears, even despite a serious complication which was caused by him during the surgery. I was in a very bad way after surgery because of his mistake (11 days) so I personally do not believe the 5 star reviews. I was under his care for long enough to discourage anyone considering this doctor.
