As adult congenital heart disease specialists, we have the opportunity to care for and to form relationships with our patients through their entire lives. I believe strongly in the model of patients being active partners in their own care. My goal is to treat all individuals with respect and dignity, to maintain a high level of communication and transparency with patients and the rest of their health care team, and to empower everyone to actively participate in care and decision-making."
