My aunt was in a hospice in Vancouver Washington under his care. We were told that Dr Runela was our aunts doctor. We never saw him once in person. We did meet two NPs; older NP who had the personality of a lego, other NP who had a mouse voice and was coughing and sick. We were appalled. Our family had questions we wanted “the doctor” to answer. We never got our questions answered by the MD. We didn’t understand how our aunt could be in a hospice inpatient unit and not be seen by the MD.
