Dr. Phillips performed an incredible spinal fusion to my back in 2012. I have seen him a few times since the surgery. He is as far as I'm concerned the only specialist I would ever trust my back to! He is beyond well informed, an expertise in his field, extremely experienced and knows exactly what is needed. If you want the best of the best that's who you see!!

I had spinal fusion surgery 1 year ago to relieve numbness/tingling in legs/feet that became progressively worse in past 3 years. Dr. Phillips was confident I would positively benefit from this procedure. I spent only 1 night in hospital, was walking in 1 week and and was able to participate in PT in 2 plus months. Golfing/biking in 5-6 months. No more hunching over while walking, looking for a chair or something to lean on; very pleased with result. Great staff/ Rush is great hospital.

Dr Phillips looked at my mri, did an examination, and easily confirmed what he suspected. Also, he did not want to perform surgery he felt was not necesary.

I am so very grateful to Dr. Phillips, Christine, and Toni. I suffered constant aching lower back pain. Before coming to MOR, I had 3 LESI, PT, Chiropractic, back braces/pillows, etc. I knew I needed surgery, but I was terrified. I heard so many horror stories about failed back sx and ending up with more pain. I had my L4-L5-S-1 spinal fusion on 7/26/18 and was back to work in 3 weeks and I have no pain! God Bless this man!! Do not trust your spine to anyone else but Dr. Phillips.

I suffered my injury doing a burpee, came into Dr Phillips’ office in pain! Dr Phillip’s diagnosed my problem fast and offered two courses of action. First was to try physical therapy and see how it goes and the second was to perform the disc replacement surgery right away. I took the more conservative route but after six weeks of PT, the pin subsided but atrophy set in so we decided to go with the disc replacement between C5/C6. Surgery was outpatient and I felt better immediately!
