Dr. Ebert is outstanding! Caring, compassionate, empathetic, skilled, and with a broad knowledge base. Absolutely first class and the best there is for joint replacements in Baltimore. Treated me like I was a member of his family.

After meeting Dr. Ebert and reviewing the MedStar Procedure Manual for Knee/Hip Replacement, I felt perfectly comfortable with the operation and anticipated what would follow. Dr. Ebert's manner permits complete confidence in the procedure and the outcome. The efficiency of the entire Union Memorial team made this operation go smoothly and I could not have been more pleased. From the intake into the hospital to the discharge with the transportation staff member who took me into the garage and my ride home, they were happy in their work, and that my situation was paramount in their concerns. The rehab team and staff on the floor could not have been more accommodating. All in all, if you have to have a knee replacement, Dr. Ebert is the surgeon and Union Memorial the facility. My left knee is showing signs of the same problem as my right. I will not have any reservation about returning there.

Five days out of hip replacement surgery by Frank Ebert, I could not bear weight and in extreme pain. I was seen in the ER for uncontrollable pain numerous times with (5) inpatient admissions at Union Memorial Hospital of no less than (3) days with a maximum stay of (5) days. On the last hospital admission at Union Memorial Hospital, Frank Ebert came into my hospital room and declared "I'm just as frustrated as you are. Go wherever you want" - dropping my hospital records on my lap. Talk about appropriate bedside manner. The blessing was that the hip replacement later became infected and had to be removed. The revision surgeon (not Frank Ebert) told my husband in the waiting room that the hip replacement though appearing normal on Xrays and MRI's was completely loose. Wow - installed loosel Run far away from Frank Ebert.

I was having trouble with my right hip replacement done by Dr. Ebert in 2014. I contacted his office 3 times and each time spoke to his PA David Short. On the 3rd call, his PA said I was drug seeking. At my next appt. with Ebert, I told him what happened and this was his response, "I don't listen to my patients, only my staff". He said "what's it going to be, my way or the highway?" I said, "The highway. I can't have a doctor who does listen to me". I will never see nor refer him.

Dr. Ebert is remarkably skillful, down to earth, and caring. He delays surgery until necessary, using the methods, recovery devices and prescriptions/OTC treatments proven most effective. In ways rarely seen, his whole team respects him and respects the patients. The office runs perfectly. I wasn't surprised to get the best possible result from my hip replacement surgery.

Dr. Ebert replaced my knee in 1997. The surgery and recovery went well. In 2013 the plastic spacers worn out in the knee and had to be replaced. Again the surgery and recovery were great. If I have any problems with my hips or other knee. Dr. Every will be my first call. I can't recommend him highly enough

Dr. Ebert is probably the best orthopedic surgeon in Maryland. He has a wonderful way of talking to his patients, so they understand everything. He is an excellent surgeon. He did my father's hip replacement, my husband's knee replacements, and my hip replacement. I would recommend Dr. Ebert to anyone who is in need of hip or knee replacements.
