Dr. Lalonde graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto in Canada. He completed his internship in Pediatrics at the Montreal Children's Hospital/McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Ottawa , Ontario, Canada. He subsequently completed two years of subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and at Children's Hospital San Diego, California. Dr. Lalonde is certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of the Volunteer Clinical Faculty in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He obtained his Masters of Education (Higher Education, Health Professional Education) at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a member of several professional medical organizations including the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.
