I'm 61 and Dr. Grasso is without a doubt the most arrogant and incompetent Dr. I have ever been to in my life. His staff is always short-handed and overwhelmed, He is always running about 1 1/2 hours behind, he was flirting with his new nurse/assistant while conducting my procedure, the procedure he conducted on me caused excruciating pain even though after I stopped going to him and decided to have the same procedure done by a different Dr. I barely felt anything at all. After my procedure Dr. Grasso told me to get dressed and meet him in his office. When I did I got to his office doorway and he was on the phone and he threw his pointer finger up at me to signal me to wait a minute. So I waited in the hall where there were no chairs to sit down and I could overhear his phone conversation. He was ordering office supplies and lots of them. The phone call was lengthy and blood started running down my leg from my procedure. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Dr. Grasso was my excellent surgeon in 1997 when he performed a colon re-section on me. I called to retrieve my medical records for the Veterans Administration (Agent Orange). I spoke with the very professional and competent Yolanda Stinnett. She retrieved my 23 year old records and had them to me in minutes. She is outstanding and I wanted to pass along my thanks and kudos to her.

Did I receive treatment which cured my condition? Yes - but I'm not 100% certain because I will not go back for my follow-up, and here's why: - The doctor did not communicate much information to me; the silent type? I got more info about my condition and answers to my questions from the receptionist. - VERY deceptive with me in their billing practices. I had to fight many appeals; this provider elected to misinform me about the (out of network) procedures they scheduled me for. I'm still stuck with over $2000 in bills (this should have been 100% in-network). - The doctor literally insulted me for one of my physical attributes, I'm still disgusted by that.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's ofice. The doctor is rude arrogant to his patients and his office staff. The wait time is always over and hour and a half. I have never left a doctor's office feeling the way I did when I left here. He is absolutely atrocious and I have no idea how he stays in business.

Very Rude and arrogant, should not be dealing with the public. Rude to his patients, rude to his staff. Had to wait 1 hour to be seen in the waiting room, only to be brought back to a room and wait again. Next visit, had to wait 1 & 1/2 hours again and again he was rude and arrogant.... found a new doctor!!

Had a 9:30 appt. Was told to arrive by 9:00. Walked out at 10:55 mad and upset. No communication of any reason for delay despite questions to office staff. Have tried to follow-up by phone for explanation of situation but no return call. Staff did not appear to be overly busy, just didn't seem to care about a couple waiting for almost 2 hours without explanation, Recommend that you try an office that cares.

Provides care only to stop filing claim forms to receive disability over time. I had surgery and was provided disability benefits by Dr. Grasso's staff. Over the course of 3 Months of recovery after developing healing complications, Dr. Grasso simply refused to fill out claim forms for further disability payments. This forced me to report back to work while not being medically cleared to return back to work. How is someone able to pay their bills with no money?

Dr. Grasso looked after me during my recent lengthy stay at GBMC for serious complications of diverticulitis and a colostomy. I was pretty much of a mess physically and mentally but his frequent visits to my bedside were very comforting and helpful. He is clearly a kind and very knowledgeable surgeon and I am extremely grateful to have been under his care.

Rude and arrogant Despite Dr. Grasso's exam reporting seeing the current external hemorrhoids, he proceeded to tell me that my symptoms of pain and bleeding did not match what he saw and " patients come to him wanting hemorrhoids removed and make up symptoms so he will remove them." This man just called me a liar!!! Then tells me if it bleeds on a Tuesday or Thursday to then call and see if I can be seen that day, sure I will plan when the thrombosed hemorrhoid bursts! Horrible experience.

Just had the worst experience. My appointment was at 9:45 and I was waiting g from 9:30. The office showed up at 10 and said traffic was bad. Then they didn't have the right key. The doctor wasn't there. One of the office staff was a man who had a thick accent. He said his name was John Doe. He was extremely argumentive and told me to find another doctor. I have never experienced anything like this! My time means nothing. I wonder how competent this doctor is?

I've been a patient of Dr. Grasso for 19 years. He is highly concerned about the well-being of his patients. He listens not only to your to problem but also to your concerns and fears. His responses are very calming. The doctor's whole staff (scheduling, nurses, techs, etc.) is very responsive to your needs and concerns also. I highly recommend this doctor and his practice.

I was pretty afraid to schedule my colonoscopy but I am soooooo glad it's over now! His staff seems to really love him and that speaks volumes, to me at least! Dr. Grasso is not a very "chatty" guy (hence the very short wait time) though he does make sure you understand everything he is saying and exactly what to expect. I would highly recommend Dr. Grasso and his staff! Most importantly, if you haven't had your over 50 colonoscopy yet, DO IT........... The colon cleansing is the worst part
