This content was provided by Dr. Glover "I was always interested in math and science and helping people. Medicine worked out to be the best of both worlds. I'm a very straightforward guy and a lot of people respect that of me because I don't mince words and people know they are going to get my honest opinion. I think it's extremely important in the communication between physician and patient--especially for patients who are elderly or very sick. It's a very scary time for both them and for their family. That's when you need to spend extra time communicating to make sure everybody knows what's going on and all questions are answered to develop trust. Patients want to feel like they're going to get better and if they trust their physician and the team that's treating them, they're going to trust that they're going to get better."
