Dr. Liotta is an amazing surgeon who explain everything about my injury and surgery in a way that I could understand. My surgery was a one off requiring rebuilding part of my should with a cadaver bone. Dr. Liotta was honest and upfront about his experience with this type of surgery and how he, the operating staff and nurses were preparing for the surgery. His follow up care has been amazing. I would recommend him to anyone needing shoulder surgery.

Dr. Liotta is a phenomenal surgeon, however, I will never return to his practice again. This is after numerous surgeries with Dr. Liotta over the past 7 years. The front office staff and nurses in this practice are incredibly arrogant and rude and, unfortunately, set the tone for the whole office. You can find an equally capable dr in a practice where the staff actually car about the patients.

Tito was able to explain my injury to me clearly and set up a time-line for me which was really helpful. He speaks Spanish which made me comfortable. The physical therapist in rifle he sent me to spoke Spanish which was easy for me. The hospital where he works is beautiful but too expensive for me and my family. I like Tito but will go elsewhere next time.

Tito helped me get back on my road bike again and I am so grateful for everything he did for me. I hope that I don’t have to go to that office or hospital again and can’t believe he puts up with it. He’s a better dr than his partners and can’t waot for him to move on!!

Tito wanted me to get back to biking again. He gave me his cell phone number and his email and checked in with me during my recovery... who else does that? I am now his biggest fan and appreciate everything that he and my PT did for me these past few months.

He is patient and is able to dumb down the anatomy to me, so I can understand what is going on with my shoulder. He said he did not want to operate and instead sent me to a physical therapist in Rifle and I am now pain free. Thank you Tito!!

Dr. Liotta is a humble, kind, patient, accomplished, practiced Orthopedic Surgeon. I had a badly damaged left rotator cuff that one other doctor in his practice said was unrepairable... tito fixed it and I recovered full range of motion and use of my left shoulder again. One suggestion: have your surgery at the mid-valley clinic, if possible. VVH is too expensive and a friend got infection there. I tried the therapy department and they get one star only?? Thanks Tito!

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr Liotta. I can be a hard critic as the hospital where he works has a horrible reputation and I did not want to go there. The people employed at VVH are unhappy, but tito was the exception. I was treated with professionalism and he spent so much time with me discussing my problem and finding a solution.

He spent so much time talking with me and explaining my condition. I went elsewhere to get a second opinion but am SO glad I stayed here and had surgery at the mid-valley surgical center. The hospital he works at, VVH, is so incredibly over-proved so am glad there were options. I can’t wait for that new surgical center to open up near the new imaging center. Thank you Tito for giving my life back to me!

I am not in the habit of giving empty compliments where they are not earned. I would like to give Dr. Liotta and his MA Emily my heartfelt compliments on their job performance. Tito was friendly and patient and hugely knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does for a living. He was kind to his staff and his student trailing him and has an amazing reputation where he lives in Carbondale and in the hospital where he is currently working.

In 2011 I had major shoulder surgery due to auto accident. Dr. Liotta dud not like the MRI from the hospital in Rifle so he had MRI done at Valley View plus xrays with contrast. He was frirndly, prompt and showed me all the xrays and MRI on his lap top in the exam room. He should me on a model what had happened and what needed to be done. He did the surgery arthroscopic and was great. He stayed on top of my therapy making recommendat ions as I moved along. He restored my shoulder and golf swing.
