Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Yang "My practice focuses on delivering excellent care and outcomes while providing my patients with the knowledge needed to be confident in the treatment paths he or she chooses. Heart rhythm problems can sometimes be challenging to fully understand for patients and I realize how important it is for patients to learn about their medical conditions. Dr. Yang Says:

Having performed over 1,500 device procedures, I utilize plastic surgical techniques to cosmetically close wounds. I treat young patients and even extremely thin patients 100 years of age. It is extremely important to close wounds fully at each layer of the skin and subcutaneous tissue and I personally perform closures myself rather than have an assistant close the wound and finish the...

I am a Registered Professional Nurse w0rking at KINGS COUNTY HOSPITAL AS ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING covering all the critical care areas, the Operating Room, & PACU I went to Maimonides Hospital on October 22, 2017 & received exceptional care from Dr Yang Dr Yang did my EPS STUDIES & IMPLANTED A CARDIAC MONITOR. NO PAIN. results were normal I was very scared of the procedure but Dr Yang was very reassuring and always there to answer my questions UNHURRIEDLY. HE WAS COMPASSIONATE & SUPERB
I had a great experience with Dr. Yang and had a defibrillator implanted. Very happy with the care and surgery. Thank you!
New York, NY |
I had pacemaker replacement surgery done by Dr.Yang in December of 2015. Now I have complications from that surgery such as very visual and ugly marks on my chest .The skin around my stitches is red and swollen. Pacemaker feels loose and doesn`t seems to work properly. This is my second pacemaker and previous surgery was much better but it it was done by another doctor. Now I`m going to different cardiologist.
The description in the comment is not consistent with how I implant devices or change batteries. I only make 1 linear incision to change a battery, not multiple marks. Also, I don't use visible stitches, I use subcutaneous dissolvable sutures. The skin is closed with a very thin skin glue in my procedures. see my full response at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jMzg0bS0pVpfYSCQ8RySHDtXVPVrVQoBlDZnqIZnfsE/pub
