I went to Dr. Simon for 5 years and found her to be smart, engaged and very competent as well as compassionate. I was always seen in a timely manner at her office and she has an excellent nurse working with her. She works with you to help motivate you to be proactive in your care. I loved her as my doctor and hate that ,for insurance reasons, I cannot go to her again. She's a really good doctor, and truly cares about the health of her patients.

After 14 months, I'm done seeing Dr Simon. I've come to feel that the only treatment in her toolkit is medication. She tends to dismiss or ignore my concerns rather than alleviate them. At my last appointment, she made me feel like I gained weight only because I didn't take care of myself—the fact that the chronic conditions for which she treats me can cause weight gain didn't seem to occur to her. Even then, she didn't talk about lifestyle changes; she only offered another prescription.
When I visited Dr. Simon, I waited over an hour past my appointment time. I'd have overlooked this, if not for the fact that I found her to be curt and rude at times during my appointment. I prefer not to share the specifics, but she presented one particular health aspect to me in a very condescending and rude manner, basically making it like it was my fault that I was going to get an ailment. Also did not give me referral to specialist that I requested. My worst experience at a doctor visit.

Dr. Simon called in a prescription in a dosage that does not exist. The pharmacy simply said they were out of stock instead of saying they do not make that. I spent the next 8 days trying to get her to correct this problem to no avail. In fact, she retaliated against me. I believe there is no excuse for ignoring a patient's 4 phone calls and three emails for over a week.

She is so compassionate about her work! She is also patient and really takes her time to listen .
