Over the past several years, I had a growing difficulty swallowing. It turns out that there was a bone spur in my neck that needed to be removed. The procedure involved an incision near my throat, then moving the throat aside to get to the bone spur. The surgery was scheduled and, as one can imagine, I was very nervous about the possible outcomes. Dr. Farrokhi was to be the surgeon to remove the bone spur once Dr Bales moved my throat aside. To me, this was nerve-racking, life changing event. To Drs. Farrokhi and Bales, it was just another “Tuesday 10:00 AM.” These gentlemen posses skills and talents that almost defy imagination. Yet, they, and their staffs were extremely supportive of all the questing and worked hard to cover the concerns. What followed was a necessary hospital overnight, administered by a hospital staff that was nothing but professional. I cannot thank my lucky stars enough to have been looked after by this team. My wife and I have been under Virginia Mas

I had C5/C6 spinal surgery 4 weeks ago with Dr. Farrokhi at the Virginia Mason Clinic in Seattle. I am doing really well and only wish I had this surgery much sooner. Everyone at the Mason Clinic was very professional and kind. From the check-in to pre-op, surgery, post-op and a short hospital stay, I was treated with kindness, professionalism and respect. My concerns and questions were addressed. I was worried about this serious surgery, but the staff and Dr helped me through every step.

When I first met Dr. Farrohki he struck me as a very compassionate and knowledgeable surgeon. I had had 20 surgeries in my last two of which were back surgeries. I have learned how to research surgeons. Dr.Farrokhis credential where very impressive. Then I started talking to other back surgeons and told them I had seen Dr. Farrohki and wanted a second oppinion. They all told me if I was seeing Dr. Farrohki to stay with him because he is the best of the best. After surgery I agree he is.

Dr. Farrokhi and his entire team are without question the kindest and most caring individuals my wife and I have ever encountered. The office staff was outstanding--friendly and welcoming. Pam who scheduled the surgery went out of her way to ensure the easiest possible coordination of paperwork manageable. She does this with a heartfelt smile. Ally is on top of the situation and goes the extra mile to make the patient feel confident and welcome. The doctor--Wow! Evergreen Hospital--great.
