Positions held and experience since completing the postgraduate training include: Assistant Professor and Chief of Addiction Psychiatry at State University of New York at Buffalo, and WVU; Clinical Director, HI DOH (CAMHD) for West Hawaii & Clinical Assist. Professor at University of Hawaii, Department of Psychiatry. Also worked as an Addiction/Geriatric Psychiatrist in Los Angeles, CA, and General Psychiatrist at Community/State Mental Health Systems in WV.One of 12 psychiatrists in the country with active board certifications in General, Geriatric, Child and Adolescent, and Addiction Psychiatry (2014 ABPN Report). Also board certified in Addiction Medicine. Awarded Fellow status by APA in 2011. Also affiliated with AAAP, ASAM, AAGP, AMA and AACAP.
