Dr. Ahmed is a fantastic physician. He explains your treatment options and gives you the power to make the decision on your own. At one point, he called me well after business hours when I sent a message on the patient portal about an issue I was having with a medication. He honestly cares about his patients and their well-being. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Dr. Ahmed is super sweet and patient. I never wait very long in his office. His front desk staff are super sweet and they're super personable. They're also incredible handling the phones while also checking patients in and out. Dr. Ahmed always takes the time to listen to me. He always reasons with me with my treatment. If I ever question anything or ask why he is suggesting something he's never offended to answer my questions. Any time he suggests any kind of medication he gives the statistics on clinical trials, as well as possible side effects. He always offers different steps of care, and is super re-assuring if something doesn't work. If I've had a particularly bad week or if something bad happened he's let me vent about it and, again, has just been reassuring. I've never felt obligated to take anything he's suggested and my medical care here has always been something we work through and agree on.

Currently, I have only seen Dr. Ahmed for one appointment but it's already better than any experience I've had in the past 15 years. He took his time to ask me questions and to better understand me and my mental state. I'm always hesitant to meet a new psychiatrist as the ones I have had in the past were nothing but pill pushers who couldn't be bothered to understand me or how I was feeling. This was a completely different experience and I left Dr. Ahmed's office feeling great about the choice I had made in seeing him. I have recommended him to a friend who is also seeking help and have encouraged her to schedule an appointment with him.

I saw Dr.Faizi and it was a terrible experience. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and have depression and anxiety because of it. I have seen a few different doctors over the years and he was by far the least attentive. The office is bare and uninviting. He barely took the time to fully understand my symptoms and metal state. It’s not a good feeling to talk to a doctor who puts off the vibe that he really doesn’t care about you. He seemed uninterested which made it very uncomfortable to open up about how I actually feel. Don’t waste your time he is terrible.

Before I met this man, my bipolar mania was way out of control , I was a really bad alcoholic , but he took the time and compassion to workout the right medicine regimen for me, where I'm actually losing weight which unfortunately for most bipolar meds weight gain is going to happen. Dr. Ahmed is my hero

If you are in need of an excellent psychiatrist, look no further. I have been to several over the years and never have I found someone as intelligent, caring and genuine as Dr. Ahmed. He read my bio, meet with me and my wife for 1 hour, and was able to understand my issues more completely than any other Dr. If you are truly interested in feeling like a load needs to be lifted from your shoulders, don’t hesitate to contact him immediately.

I was referred to Dr. Ahmed by my previous psychiatrist who is now specializing in a different field. I was very impressed with the office team's professionalism. It was easy to reschedule my second appointment when the office was closed due to weather conditions. Dr. Ahmed was very professional and took notes during our first session. He listened to my concerns regarding medications-I felt very "heard" and respected. My 2nd appointment was with Sarah Bernstein and I had the same experience.

We have been to one visit so far. This is a newer practice and both the doctor and his staff were gracious and professional. Even with the holiday we were able to get an appointment within 2 weeks. The intake interview was an hour and it was very focused and direct. Our follow up is in 2 weeks. We was also willing to file our insurance paperwork. Talk therapy is being done with a psychologist.

If I could give this Doctor 0 stars I would. Awful customer service and will charge you for anything they want. The cancellation policy is ridiculous and they were extremely rude when trying to work with them. Save your time and stress and don't go to this doctor. A lot of other well respected and easy to deal with psychiatrists in the area that won't charge $100 for a appointment you cancel days ahead of time.
