in Queens, NY |
First time seeing Rafiq and was horrible. Waited for about 20 minutes and dismissive of any questions He Treated me like I was a child and made me feel horrible about myself. I dont have any depression but after seeing him, It made me depressed. This man will make you feel like your are a piece of trash. Will try to push medication you dont need to get kick backs for profit. I will never see him again and will go find a new doctor. Very mean.
in Bay Shore, NY |
Dr. Rafiq treated and mis-diagnosed my son at South Oaks Hospital, Amityville, Ny. His incompetence at accusing me for "not seeing this coming", and releasing my son a week later, resulted in my son's suicide a week after he was released, March 9th, 2016. Dr. Rafiq wasn't available for me to talk to at the time of my son's release, but because my son was scheduled for release, i had to bring him home.

Dr.Rafiq is one of the most innovative doctors around. He has an office in Albany and NYC but if are not near him at the time he has an app that you can video chat with him at almost any time. Dr understands what his patients have to deal with on a daily basis and knows what works well for each individuals condition. He is knowledgeable in a plethora of conditions and I would be on a devistating path if I never met Dr.Rafiq. I'm not sure if accepting new patients thought, never hurts to ask!
