Wonderful doctor and staff!! The doctor was very kind and took all the time needed to explain everything and made sure that he answered all of my questions at every visit, both before and after surgery. I never felt rushed. Also, I never had to wait too long for my appointments. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. I had to have forms filled out, and they were very prompt in doing so and getting them back to me. I highly recommend Dr. AbuShahin.

I had the most wonderful experience with Dr. AbuShahin and his whole staff. Losing my baby was tough and emotional but Dr. AbuShahin was kind and answered all my questions. At the hospital he came and saw me before surgery and talked me through it all. His nurse Cami is the nicest person I’ve met and so is his nurse Rebecca. I can call them anytime and they answer any concerns I have. Having a doctor you can talk to who is down to earth and empathetic is the best thing I could have asked for during this hard situation. I would give him 100 stars if I could.

Became a new patient of AbuShahin’s due to a very rare condition. What a caring, nice, and concerned doctor! Took plenty of time to go over my situation, my concerns and eased my fears of going into surgery and proceeding with the recommended complete hysterectomy. Due to his outstanding surgical skills I was back at work and feeling well in record time! I highly recommended him!

I cannot praise this doctor enough! My 13 year old daughter was recommended to Dr AbuShahin to remove a grapefruit sized cyst/tumor. He took his time, explained everything, was never rushed and made us feel comfortable with him on the very first visit. He was amazing, his nurses are amazing as well. I will say that scheduling the appointment and the ladies we spoke to calling in to even get to scheduling were not the most friendly but I can deal with that to have such a competent surgeon

Dr. Shahin and his staff are amazing. I was referred to him after a failed hysterectomy due to extensive endometriosis that had spread to by bowels. When I went to Dr. Shahin I was very nervous; he sat with me and explained all of my options. I was expecting huge scars, a colostomy bag - No, he is extremely talented; he went through my original incisions, took care of the issues and I feel better than I have in years. Also, nursing staff at Lee Memorial is great, very attentive and kind.
