I saw Dr. Schafer for chronic sinus problems. She ordered a test for my throat. She never followed up about the test results. Never formulated a plan to deal with my issues or to try to improve my situation. Office staff is extremely difficult to deal with. Left three messages for the same issue, but never got an answer to my questions.

Illinois Patient – Dec 18, 2019
I rarely write reviews but today felt I had a very good experience with Dr. Schaeffer and her staff. The visit was long because I needed several tests and also have other, complicating ailments that confused the situation. Her three assistants were really sweet, and Dr. Schaeffer herself was strong and friendly and seemed very sure of her process. While waiting for my results to manifest (allergy tests), I could hear Dr. Schaeffer being very kind to a distraught young child. Not easy. Good doc!

I was very impressed with Dr. Schafer. Her practice's medical assistants and the receptionists also exceed my expectations. I had an excellent experience with this practice.

Went in for daughter's allergy screening. Doctor misdiagnosed skin condition & we needed to follow up with her pediatrician the next day. Doctor never looked at child's diaper area that was mentioned & it turned out to be impetigo (contagious) NOT eczema (not contagious). She didn't spend any time explaining the allergy test results & just said come back when she's two. Terrible experience when you have a 14 month old with a limited diet who is allergy to a dozen things. Will not be back.
