My father-in-law and mother-in-law started going to him over 35 years ago when he was in Point Pleasant before they passed away: in 1992 and 2001 respectively. When I started having heart problems, I became his patient, too. He moved his practice to Brick and had to slow down due to his health, which was sad a sad day when I found out. I continue to see the Cardiologist he recommended, and although he is a nice person, he will never replace Dr. Stamos, who remains one of my favorite doctors.
