There is a reason why all 60 people have left Dr. Dougherty a perfect 5.0 review. He cares, listens, is patient, has a great staff, gets your surgery done immediately, explains everything and performs outstanding surgery. My wife cracked her knee in half and Dr. Dougherty made it look like new by taking his time repairing it. He is a gifted surgeon.

I met Dr Dougherty in the emergency room after a fall had fractured my femur. Dr Dougherty installed a rod to my leg while another surgeon operated on my arm which had been injured in a previous fall. My leg healed while my arm did not. I returned to Dr Dougherty later to repair my broken arm. Both arm and leg are now completely healed. Dr Dougherty has a great bedside manner and was always compassionate. I am very grateful for my interactions with Dr Dougherty and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of orthopedic services.

I fell and broke my femur. The ER set up a consultation with Dr. Dougherty and he saw me the same day. He said I needed surgery. I was very apprehensive but he put my mind a ease right away. He demonstrated where the break was and what he intended to do. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Surgery went well. He came out and assured my family that all went well and they could see me as soon As I was out of recovery. He came by the next day with his assistant Laura. She was also very attentive. When I went for an X-ray and to have my stitches removed in his office, it was a very pleasant experience. And when I was not able to go to my follow appointments due to the pandemic, Laura called and spoke to me and my wife and put us at ease and answered all our questions. Her knowledge, patience and understanding were very much appreciated. Today I went for another X-ray and Dr. said it was totally healed. Thank you Dr. Dougherty for a job well done! I am grateful.

I was a trauma patient with multiple injuries including a severely fractured right femur. I received immediate treatment and repair including two surgeries within 24 hours which were done by Dr. Daugherty. The care, treatment, and professionalism of Dr. Daugherty and his team were and continue to be outstanding. My family and I are very grateful.

After our 14-year old son broke his ankle, x-rays also showed a nonunion from a previous, undiagnosed injury. Surgery was required to insert screws on each side, and a followup surgery was necessary to remove the four screws. Having your child undergo surgery is scary, but my son, my husband, and I all had complete confidence in Dr. Dougherty from our first meeting. He was knowledgeable, confident, and reassuring, while explaining everything in detailed yet simple terms. We are thankful for Dr. D and highly recommend him!

Dr. Dougherty is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. (This was my 7th surgery.) Every appointment he has been timely, attentive, and has taken the time to go over all my options with me, explaining things every step of the way. Dr. Dougherty also collaborated with my other doctors to ensure I had the best treatment plan. Incredibly, his office staff is available and promptly returns calls- unlike any doctor’s office I have dealt with. I cannot recommend Dr. Dougherty enough!!
