What People Say About Dr. Eugenia Kolkas, MD
Reply
She seemed supportive of my choice to have a third vba2c with my fifth at first. Towards the end of my pregnancy she changed my due date several times. She also dismissed my concerns regarding decreased fetal movement in my last 2 months of pregnancy combined with severe sciatica that could not be controlled through acupuncture, chiropractic care and other means. Also denied that we discussed low dose pitocin induction in case of emergency (PROM without onset of labor due to history). Lastly, she criticized my weight gain by telling me that I should've rather smoked to produce a smaller baby, whilst knowing that my own mother died at the age of 47 due to complications from diabetes type 1 and smoking. Front office lady in Ellsworth witnessed this and was completely shocked as well. I do not recommend her at all. Horrendous bedside manner.
