We had a visit over the phone since I was in New Jersey and the doctor was in New York. He explained the entire procedure to me and after reviewing the tests that I had taken, advised me that I was not a candidate for the Zephyr treatment. I heartily recommend Dr. Shostak as he is an expertise in his field. I

I had been his patient for Bronchial Thermoplasty. He is very knowledgeable, compassion and caring. He explained everything thoroughly and very patient. I had my fourth procedure done and I am very happy for the turnout of my condition. He is an excellent doctor and although I live very far from the hospital ,it was well worth to see him. I highly recommend him and his staff. Thank God for a doctor like him????

Dr Shostak made himself available to me on extremely short notice, got on a zoom televisit and immediately put me at ease in very trying circumstances. His skills with bronchoscopy are second to none, saving me and his other patients the pain and pitfalls of more involved procedures. I cannot recommend Dr Shostak highly enough. he is simply great

Experience with Dr. Shostak was excellent. The entire hospital staff was competent , considerate, and efficient. Additionally every precaution was taken in regard to the COVID 19 . At conclusion of the test, Dr. Shostak explained the results in great detail and followed up with our pulmonologist as well as a personal phone call the next day to us.

Friendly and helpful staff. time was minimum. Doctor was thorough and took time to answer my questions, explain the proposed plan, and discuss my potential diagnosis and treatment options. Very satisfied with the entire experience. Highly recommend. One issue is give yourself some time to locate his office within Cornell - its a bit of a maze.

After waiting almost 2 hours, I politely asked if they could reschedule my appointment as I had to be back at work. Then the lady said no because Dr. Shostak wants enough time for each patient etc. Yeah her logical reasoning was just like that! Sometime later i was able to see Dr. Shostak and it was only for 10 seconds! I don’t know if it is the front office lady or the doctor but something is really not nice about this place!

It was absolutely fantastic, I did get lost and couldn't find where exactly I needed to b, and it was making me become short of breath, so I called back up to Dr. Sho's office and this wonderful #Angel named Olga came to my aid, she personally got me a wheelchair and took me herself to the PFT testing area, wonderful caring woman. I would recommend them all , and Dr Shostak simply awesome .
