Patient Comments (5)
He didn't consult the oncologist before performing a surgery on a cancer patient. He stated all the cancer was gone after the surgery. There were X-rays and such prior to surgery. He even made patient in front of spouse who was a healthcare professional feel bad about their weight. He never apologized for screw up and even walked by waiting area smiling after being told on parent Day our parent was terminal the whole time.

Had surgery to remove three stones discharged the next day. Went home and was home for 24 and couldn't move, my wife got me to the er after hours suffering the pain and what i thought was death, I was told that I had urine leaking into my body causing a serious life threatening infection. I was transferred to DHMC where I was admitted for 5 days and had two surgeries. Two more to go. The tube from my kidney to my bladder had a large rip in it. Never again will i see this doc.

Dr. Dixon was my husband's urologist at Lake of the Ozarks, MO. We moved away, then returned to the area. Sorry to learn he no longer is available to us. Treated my husband with care & dignity. Good luck in your new practice Dr. Dickson.
Osage Beach, MO |
Dr. Dixon is a great doctor and person. Before leaving his practice at the Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach MO. he did a procedure to allow me to again have control of my bladder. GREAT job. Sure wish he was still practicing at the lake. Good doctors are hard to find.
He's a nice man with a good personality. However after removing a kidney stone by the lithotripsy procedure, I had a hole in my back. He nor any of the nurses told me about my back. When I went for my follow up, I questioned him and he said it happened because I am a small structured person. I'm a 140 lb 5'5 female and don't agree with this answer, I believe it was a mistake he made and I should have been informed. Not happy with this experience!
