Dr. Gates's response time to callback requests from her patients are less than satisfactory. Twice, the patient and parent called requesting a return call for an emergency situation with no response at all! Anyone suffering from depression and anxiety with suicidal thoughts----do not seek help from Dr, Gates. We sought out another Psychiatrist who was appalled at the mix/dosage of medication prescribed by Dr. Gates. Overmedicated and unresponsive--not a good combination for a doctor of patient of mental illness.

Excellent psychiatrist. Compassionate, informative, wonderful listener and makes you feel at ease sharing confidential information. I highly recommend Dr. Gates to either adults or children.

Dr Gates was taking clients and I had an Intake appointment. So after speaking with her very rationally about myself and my past history of Bi-Polar, she Decided to change my diagnosis Radically. I was very surprised at this. Then another strange thing , She then asked me my faith! I replied back proudly I'm a Christian. and then she asked me what church do you attend? and I told her Lifesong Christian Fellowship.
