Dr. Van Os was one of the few providers I found in Colorado Springs that was able to treat my particular condition, as it's rare. Although he took a more conservative approach than I did, he always listened to my opinions and thoughts.

I had a colonoscopy by Dr. Van Os. He has a warm and perfect bedside manner and explained all I needed to know. I think this is one of the best Gastroenterology centers as everyone from beginning to end...the receptionist ...the nurses...the anethesiologist...the doctor...all had perfect manners and skill to make this a great procedure. I give the center 5 stars!

I have been a patient of Dr. Van Os for many years. He is a most capable, professional, caring and kind doctor. His bedside manner prior to and after the procedure puts the patient at ease and informs the patient in detail and in very understandable language about what to expect and about the results. I have an unfortunate condition that requires frequent colonoscopies, but I have the great fortune of having Dr. Van Os as my specialist. I really believe he has saved my life with his timely and diligent care of my situation. The only small issue I had at my last office visit was a rather crowded waiting room with little space to sit. I also waited 35 minutes past my appointment time to be called to the procedure room by the nurses, but the doctor performed the procedure even slightly ahead of schedule. The waiting room and waiting time are certainly no reflection on the doctor.

Dr. Van Os has treated me on 5 occasions from 2005 to 2018. He practices at the epitome of his profession and combines that with a doctor/patient demeanor by talking "to" rather than "at" a layman. He should be at the top of a list of Gastroenterologists being considered by anyone. Seeking help with personal health issues needs to be combined with confidence in those that you confer with and Dr. Van Os certainly fills that need to the nth degree. He and his staff are all professionals.

Dr. Van Os introduced himself prior to my colonoscopy and explained everything that was going to happen. He was very personable and I felt very confident that I would be well taken care of. After the procedure, he came in and spoke with me about the findings and put them in very common terms and made sure I understood and if I had any questions. I was give a full typed report with lots of details which I appreciated so that I could reference later.
