Dr. Kubiak is the vice chairman of University of Las Vegas Nevada Orthopedics and director of the UNLV orthopedic trauma department. He has extensive experience in orthopedic trauma and adult reconstruction and total joint replacement surgery. Dr. Kubiak has published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters. Outside of work, Dr. Kubiak is an active rock climber and captain of his family's commercial fishing boat in Kodiak, Alaska, but enjoys nothing more than spending quality time with his high school sweetheart and wife and their two children.

    Since residency, Dr. Kubiak has spent over 10,000 hours in the operating room treating orthopedic conditions of all types. He is fellowship trained in the treatment of orthopedic trauma injuries and has performed over 1,000 total joint replacement surgeries. He travels the world teaching courses on treatment of traumatic injuries and joint replacement.
