Winchester, VA |
I am most impressed with Dr. Bruhn with the way he will explain things even without you asking the questions. Is very knowledgeable with my condition and health problems. Had diverticulitis surgery with Dr. Bruhn after having Aortic Aneurysm operation at UVA Hospital. Also saw Dr. Bruhn for a ruptured blood vessel which was protruding past the skin. I'm very pleased with the experience and treatment I have received from Dr. Bruhn and his staff, which are treasurers in their own right.

Dr. was able to see us within 24 hours of my call. He is very knowledgeable and willing to explain all details to the patient. We appreciate him sharing his knowledge with us and highly recommend him because he explains what he thinks and gives us options to relieve the problem.

I was hospitalized for a serious infection involving my entire sigmoid colon. Dr Bruhn was consulted and spent considerable time with me listening and discussing my problem after reviewing my CT scan. He was kind, compassionate, but most of all LISTENED to my history and together we developed a plan. Laparoscopically he was able to remove my entire sigmoid colon and repair a longstanding rectocele enabling me to go home two days later. I’m eternally grateful for his kindness and expertise.

Took me in like family and preformed my gallbladder removal the next day. Office staff is outstanding. 1st time having surgery and was so nervous, Dr. Bruhn put me at ease and everything went great. Was cutting my grass 2 days later. I would never go to another surgeon unless he referred me.

My wife and I are very satisfied with the care Dr. Bruhn provided my wife to cure the difficult problem she developed over several weeks before surgery. He listened to her carefully and proposed a plan that included surgery after answering all our questions. The surgery was technically difficult, but Dr. Bruhn was able to do what needed to be done and corrected another unrelated problem for which my wife had undergone two previous, failed surgeries. We highly recommend Dr. Bruhn.

I had cancer and he spent an amazing amount of time answering my (and my pushy daughter's) questions. There was no time soon in the schedule, so he even agreed to come in and do it on a Saturday so I didn't have to wait.
