Worst Dr ever never will I see her again for anything! I have a lot of respect for Lahey Hospital but she takes the cake why would this Hospital employ such an individual is beyond me. No respect for the patient, Arrogant, talks down to you like your stupid. Given wrong consent form, when in the procedure room I was told and if you think surgery is going to fix arthritis your wrong! Not what I was told I have. Left there very confused don’t know who to believe.

Horrific, horrific doctor: truly, the worst I've ever seen. Rude, lacking knowledge, arrogant (without cause); gave improper diagnosis and said unbelievably incorrect things per two later physicians. Positive reviews are undoubtedly fake--negative reviews are exactly my experience.

My visit was a nightmare! She was angry, barking questions..i.e. "Why are you here ?" Very argumentative, cutting off my answers and her parting shot was "If you don't get this taken care of....you WILL be in a wheelchair." I could not trust her so I went to another neurosurgeon at Lahey.....Dr. Yew....what a difference....a total professional.

She is brilliant and looks at the large picture. She will take into account all your other treatment and current treatments then come up with new ideas to help your situation. She is willing to take on the hardest cases that other doctors have not been able to help and give treatment for pain--in particular she is highly knowledgeable about nerve pain. Amazingly whip-smart doctor extremely gifted and up-to-date in current theories of pain management.

One of the most-abrasive people that I have ever met. Cut me off when I answered her questions. Looking elsewhere for care.

Worst experience I ever had at a doctor's office (first & last).. She twisted my words, would not let me speak, told me my pain was not consistent with my MRI; contrary to my Brigham's Neuro doctor.. She told me my medications were being mismanaged although a primary, urgent care, and a neurosurgeon were in agreement. I left distressed, frustrated and confused.. Her and her assistant were rude, arrogant, and very short tempered, not a good match when they have to deal with people in pain.

I recently was referred to Dr bial for a bulging disc in my neck that was giving me a lot of pain I've since then seeing two other doctors that agree with me that she should have given me the cortisone shot and also my psychologist for I am being treated for anxiety which is down now she let me walk out of the room and such pain and she was so rude to me she wasn't nice she was very blunt and she was very rude to me I would write her a zero and furthermore she shouldn't even be a doctor .

Extremely helpful and professional, as well as exuding a positive and holistic attitude on pain management; set me up up on a pain management program, after four years on vicodin which my primary doctor wanted me to transition away from. Dr. Bial gave me a spinal injection, and I felt relief in minutes. (I had previous injections that didn't take.) She designed a pain managment program which I am still on over a year, and am doing well. I highly recommend her.

She tried to refute my genetic diagnosis and say that I have fibromyalgia despite my not actually meeting ANY of the fibromyalgia diagnostic criteria. Waited over two hours past my appointment time with no updated timeline. She also decided to do nothing and offer no treatment options or suggestions - no PT, no bracing, no trigger point injections, no topicals, no NSAIDS, no lidocaine patches - no nothing. I've met medical students who were already much more competent than she will EVER be.
