We would recommend Dr. Walchak to anyone who is looking for a Cardiologist who is very kind and interested in all your cares and concerns. Questions are answered and conditions discussed in terms that are easily understood . He takes time to listen.!!!!! We both said to each other when we got to our car" He is such a nice man and he knows what he is doing". We are thankful for him.
I work with Dr. Walchak and I would recommend him in a second. He is a very thoughtful person with great integrity which he incorporates in his excellent patient care and work environment. Not to mention he is very intelligent. I love picking his brain and he always comes back with the latest statistics. He is someone I would send my family members and friends to!

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

      Dr. Walchak says...

It is important to me that my patients receive personal, compassionate and thorough care that is of the highest quality. As a cardiologist, I view patients as a whole instead of list of symptoms. I actively listen to questions and concerns patients may have and educate them on how to improve their health – and stay well.

I have a special interest in treating hypertension and helping patients achieve their blood pressure goals.

As an osteopathic physician, I understand the importance of overall wellness in helping people feel better and stay healthy. I educate my patients on how proper nutrition and fitness plays an active role meeting their healthcare goals.

I am also designated as a specialist in clinical hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension (ASH), the first and one of the only physicians to receive this designation in West Michigan.
