Dr Van Rooy runs a disciplined and thorough radiation treatment operation at St Francis Hospital in Hartford. He is no nonsense with the plan of action, the possible outcomes, best practices to ease the pain of side effects, etc. I had constant sessions with him, the nurses and nutritionist, monitoring me for weight loss, infection, etc. If you are facing cancer treatment, this is the guy you need! And the treatment team was just outstanding: compassionate and comprehensive. Highly recommended.

I found Dr. Van Rooy to be extremely knowledgeable and he took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly, answering all of our questions. He was professional and considerate during each treatment and remembered small things about me, that made me feel relaxed and more at ease.
