First of all, I hope you do not need a neurosurgeon. In case you need one, I would look somewhere else. I had an appointment with him at 7:30. I accepted that appointment that early because I needed to work during the day. I arrived, as Kaiser requires, at 7:15. At 8:24 I was still waiting for him....more

It has been 2 years after my back surgery. My wife and I meet Dr. Steiner on a Tuesday short story 2 days latter had surgery. I am still recovering and feel like I am doing so much better than I should be at this point. I am so...more

We went to him for a 2nd opinion for spinal fusion. After being 75 mins late for the appt. despite staff assuring us he knew we were there. His entrance was casual to say the least. We weren't impressed by this point and his tune immediately changed to "you need surgery & I'm not the one for you"...more

Dear LB Patient, I am sorry I was not able to care for you. After working most of the night and caring for multiple emergencies in the morning of our appointment I was late to see you. I do not expect you to have any respect or compassion for other sick patients. You and your husband were so upset about me being late that there was never going to be a way I could help you. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get the care you deserve. Respectfully, Eric Stiner MD FAANS

After 10 minutes with Dr. Stiner, I knew he was the one to correct my problem. My consolation was for an unrelated condition. Taking the time to listen to a few side comments I made, his knowledge and insight unveiled a serious cervical condition which led to a painless and successful four-hour...more
