Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with an emphasis in shoulder reconstruction and joint replacement and I am fellowship-trained in sports medicine. I was inspired to pursue this career path because I am a "people person," and I consider any profession wherein one can use their skills and talents to help others to be a noble vocation. I enjoy the complexity and challenge of shoulder cases, and through sports medicine and reconstructive procedures, I'm able to help athletes work through the challenge of injury and get back to the sports and activities they love, which I find to be incredibly rewarding. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to make my living by helping patients through what is often a vulnerable, painful situation and see them return to active, pain-free lifestyles. When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, skiing, and ice hockey. I look forward to meeting with you! Sincerely, Dr. Eric M.
