Cut first, ask questions later. Once he's paid, forget it, you're on your own. Was told 6 weeks recovery, more like 6 months to a year for partial recovery. Get 2nd opinion for sure

I am sorry you had a poor experience John, but I am fairly certain you are not my patient. I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon (specializing in Oncology/Total Joints). I am strictly on salary by the hospital I work for and I certainly do not do what you suggest. I suspect you may have confused me with Eric Silverstein, DPM who is a podiatrist (foot specialist) in Hartford. Either way I am sorry for your situation but I would appreciate you remove this erroneous comment since it doesn't pertain to me.
