The staff is great, except for returning calls. He himself has 0 bedside manner and says one thing on your reports and something different to you personally. He's probably a much more caring doctor, if your not workers comp.

Extremely knowledgeable with warm and wonderful staff!

From my very first visit to my last, the staff have been wonderful, helpful and as sweet as can be. Dr. Scott has been the best surgeon and NEUROsurgeon I could've hoped to be referred to! I guess I just lucked out. Would I do it again? (I had a herniated disc repaired, a discectomy AND a fusion done) ABSOLUTELY. But only by Dr. Eric Scott. He's very professional, to the point, he doesn't hem and haw...he tells you exactly what's going on, what needs to be done. Thank you, DR Scott!
in Gainesville FL |
Dr Scott has done two spinal fusions on my spine, lower back and neck. Very professional and will explain things in a way that's understandable to a redneck like me. I love the dogs!
in Gainesville, FL |
Very calm, courteous and smart. Explained why I've been having awful back pain after slipping on a dog toy -yes, as embarrassing as that is - while I am nervous about having surgery, he and his staff were helpful and understanding, and got me in to see him the next day. I can now walk again without pain. Thank you Dr. Scott!
in Branford, Florida |
I just read that review from January 5th and that patient must be insane. I was also in Dr Scotts office that day. His staff was exceedingly professional, went out of their way to help me with my paperwork. I witnessed a man in their office YELLING at staff that he didn't want to pay for a form. I saw the blonde girl explaining that six people touch forms in their office. He was just mad he had to pay for something EVERY office charges for. I love Dr. Scott i had surgery with him and he saved me
Gainesville, FL |
Dr Scott was very professional and knowledgeable. He relieved my pain of over 20 years. However, his office staff is the rudest I have ever seen . This is the reason I will NOT recommend his practice for even my worst enemy.
in Gainesville, FL |
I went to my personal doctor. He sent me to Dr. Scott for my neck. I was afraid of surgery. He spoke to my husband and two daughters and explained my surgery. He took time with me. I had my surgery and I am out of pain completely! I have never felt better. He is the best! His clinic ran late but I got to hold puppies and his staff was very nice and explained the reason why we waited. We love the dogs.
in Gainesville, FL |
Dr. Scott can be quite hostile at times. A very tense man.
Hollister, FL |
I would never send someone to this office. Staff members are rude, and he told me that my pain was due to getting old. When I went to another specialist, I was told I had a protruding disc and was immediately set up for surgery. I was 34 years old when I went to see him. He expected me to live in pain for the rest of my life.
in Gainesville, FL |
Dr. Scott is professional and knows what he is doing. I appreciate the fact that he follows conservative treatment practices so that I have the best shot at recovering fully.
in Gainesville, FL |
This doctor will not allow your PCP visit you while recovering in the hospital, and also has a poor reputation in dealing with other doctors in Gainesville. He is off my list of potential doctors.
Crystal River, FL |
Very professional, intelligent and honest. I have complete trust in him and believe he only provides treatments that are best suited for my conditions.
