Run!! Super unorganized and unprofessional office. Made an appointment in August for beginning of October. One week before my appointment; received a call that there was an emergency; moved appt to November. Received a call a couple days ago stating that the doctor is no longer seeing new patients; id have to see someone else in the practice. Then received another call today at around 10am stating he was going to be out of the office in November and they had an appointment today at 2pm; and I had to call them back as soon as possible so they could fit me into this schedule.... Unfortunately i wasn't able leave work in such short notice. I never got to see or will ever see the actual doctor. His office is a mess and very unprofessional.

Dr. Robbins is competent and knowledgeable. He lacks empathy and communication skills between appointments. He had originally prescribed a medication for me a year ago for PTSD while I was inpatient. My then outpatient doctor continued to prescribe the medication. I later switched to Dr. Robbins for outpatient appointments due to insurance reasons. Without providing a clinical reason, he would not prescribe it to me again. He would not discuss it with me between appointments and I had run out of medication. I asked his medical assistant whether he was discontinuing the medication. She said no. I asked how I was to obtain the medication without his prescription. She stated I can talk to him about it at my next appointment (4 weeks later). I do not recommend him, for this reason only. Otherwise, as I said, he is competent.

Doctor is great, and the team on the office in Tamarac are excellent people, always friendly, kind, funny, and always worry about my kid's health. Sometime on summer time I did have to bring my other little kids and they were such a good people that they were keep them busy so mommy can be focus on what the doctor says. Maria from the insurance part also helps with whatever you need,so the team work all together, so you don't have to wait or else. Very nice group of people there, I love them all !!!

After waiting months my son had an appointment, on that day we saw someone else instead. My son has done drugs, threatened his life a number of times with a knife has violent outrages, in Dec. of 2017 I scheduled myl son to see Dr. Robbins, then early in 2018 the same day we had an appointment the office called to reschedule for another month. My advise is see another doctor in Broward. A bad and dangerous choice when you have a teen who lies, steals, threatens his own life.

I've had a really great experience with the team in this office since becoming a patient first of the year. Everyone here is kind, compassionate, competent and professional. It's a well-run office, my wait time has always been short, and prescriptions/refills are never a problem. Dr. Robbins listens to my concerns, never makes me feel rushed, and isn't judgmental. I've seen great improvement under his care and feel lucky to have found his office. I really appreciate him and his whole team.

I have been to several Psychiatrists and I have worked with several Psychiatrists professionally. I had my 1st visit with Dr. Robbins today and although it was a little awkward at first, the more we spoke, the more I could tell he cared. A lot of psychiatrists get you in and out after waiting forever in the waiting room. I did not wait more than 10 minutes and that was because I was 10 minutes early. They are strict about being on time which I love! Highly recommend this group!
