Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Nicholson "Dr. Nicholson will perform a complete psychiatric assessment, in some cases include blood and urine testing, and present his findings to his patient, with the understanding that psychiatric diagnoses become more evident over time as symptoms can evolve and the patient may reveal more information as they become more comfortable with the psychiatrist. Dr. Nicholson then will present the therapeutic treatment that his experience and credible research indicates can decrease or eliminate symptoms.  Dr. Nicholson explains the theory or rationale behind all interventions and how they work and what his experience applying the techniques has been.  He prefers to collaborate with his patients to determine how aggressively the symptoms will be targeted in treatment and behaviors and other factors that can improve treatment success.  The frequency of sessions that will provide maximum benefit is discussed and agreed upon so that treatment can begin with clear goals and expectations for success."

I highly recommend Dr. Nicholson for people with anxiety and OCD and addictions. I don't think any other psychiatrist spends 2 to 3 hours teaching his patients to deal with their problems. He helped me so much and truly gave me my life back.
