Dr. Guidi is a graduate of Bucknell University and Albany Medical College. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York and his fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Nirschl Orthopaedic Center and Georgetown University. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and specializes in injuries to the upper and lower extremities. He uses both surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment, such as diagnostic ultrasound, stem cell injections, and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, to help his patients return to their active lifestyles.
Dr. Guidi has been an assistant to the Washington Redskins football team physician and has worked as the team physician for many local teams. He currently serves as the team physician for the Langley High School Ice Hockey Club as well as the Reston Raiders Ice Hockey Club.
Dr. Guidi is the Orthopaedic and Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Consultant at Nirschl Orthopaedic Center working directly with the United States Military Physicians.
Dr. Guidi was selected as one of the area's "Top Doctors" by US News and World Report. He has been recognized by his peers as one of the areas "Top Doctors" in Northern Virginia Magazine, and voted by Patients' Choice as one of the area's most compassionate doctors.
