Dr. Cohen is a really sweet guy, but his office staff is very unresponsive and the wait time for our last appointment was 1.5 hours. My son was on medication that was not working for him. When we told Dr. Cohen it wasn't working and we wanted to explore other treatment options, he told us to get a second opinion and dropped us. My son is now off of all medication, per Dr. Cohen's recommendation and is waiting 2 months to get in with another provider. We are very disappointed in Dr. Cohen.

I think he is a sweetheart of a guy and really cares about his patients but you actually get very little face to face time with him. You will instead spend 1.5-2 hrs each appt helping the resident doctors (a different one each time) gain their experience in psychiatry.
