Pleaded with Dr. Bluman for an MRI of my swollen ankle. He refused and stated not needed. Subsequently I saw a RHEUMATOLOGIST who was extremely concerned with the appearance of this same ankle. Without even asking she ordered an MRI. The MRI revealed a massive peroneus longus tendon TEAR. Almost completely ruptured. I am unfortunately now awaiting surgery. Factually proven this doctor MISDIAGNOSED me because he thinks he knows more about how my body feels than I do. His "exam" was less than 30 seconds. It should also be pointed out that Dr. Bluman was in a BIG RUSH from the moment he entered the room. I am giving him one star because he was friendly. STAY AWAY IF YOU NEED SOMEONE WILLING TO TAKE THE TIME NEEDED FOR AN ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS. I pray that he is reading this so that he learns that his patients deserve far better care than what he gave me!

This doctor does not pay attention to check the X Ray that you do before you see him.But i have to tell him to check it. His assistance (Women) does not have knowledge about any thing in her job when you challenge her she get mad and treat you bad,or tell the Doctor that you offend her shame on the doctor that believe on her and cover for each other mistake.

I went to Dr Bluman for my own foot/ankle issue after my wife had a great outcome with his repair of her hammer toe and bunion corrective surgeries. She went from barely being able to walk a quarter mile to being back on the dance floor after four months of recovery. Dr Bluman listens well, and seems to be a great diagnostician. He has come up with what I perceive as a good strategy for my ankle sprain. I would recommend him to other dancers who may be having problems with their feet/ankles.
