Personable and concerned
Have had several visits with Dr. Shin for my Dupuytren's contracture. He was always willing to listen and take the time to answer questions. Ultimately, I had the collagenase injection and, one month after the procedure, I have full movement and use of my hand so, it was successful. However, I would have liked to have had more information on possible side effects of the injection since it was much more uncomfortable than I expected. I did a fairly rigorous internet search beforehand but did not see the issue that I experienced. In hind sight, I would have had the surgery instead of the injection had I known about the side effects that I experienced. When I did call the office about the discomfort, I did get a prompt response from his assistant and the doctor - that reduced my concern.

Extraordinary care of my wrist and of my spirit
I came to Dr. Shin with what I believed to be a sprained wrist, from a bicycle accident. He took extraordinary care in evaluating it and developing a holistic understanding of what was wrong. After careful and extensive screening, he proposed a course of treatment that I was hesitant about, because I did not want to lose functionality in my wrist, despite the pain and compromised motion I was experiencing. Fast forward, and I am happy to report that I am able to play guitar again for the first time in six months with no pain and full mobility. Not only is my wrist back to normal, my spirits are high as well. Thank you, Dr. Shin. I will also add that his entire team was thoroughly professional, consistently kind, and very skillful. This is true of the schedulers as well as the physical therapists.

Trigger finger release.
I had Trigger Finger release surgery with Dr Shin @ St Mary's hospital Langhorne, Pa. It was a very easy procedure. Dr Shin was very reassuring and so was the staff at the hospital. A very simple surgery I opted for just nonvaccine and nothing else.

Excellent!
Dr. Shin recently treated me for a case of trigger finger in my right hand with trigger finger release surgery. My hands are very important to me as I am a professional working musician and music teacher in the Philadelphia area. Dr. Shin fixed it! I am good to go! Dr. Shin is an excellent surgeon and a very kind man. He and his team made the whole surgery process very easy. We are very lucky to have him here at St. Mary's hospital. I highly recommend him.

Dr Shin has an amazingly calm manner. When you are in distress he is able to explain what needs to be done very calmly putting you at ease that you are in good hands (pun intended). He is a very talented surgeon. He has operated on me 3 x all perfectly successful. Carpel Tunnel on each hand and you cannot even see a scar. And just recently I fell and broke a finger. Doctor operated and corrected that fracture and straightened the finger. I’m doing so much better now.
