Excellent & Compassionate Doctor
My visits with Dr. Dyer have always been informative and positive. Dr. Dyer has always provided me with excellent care and taken whatever time was necessary to discuss my health. I have had multiple back surgeries performed by him and have never worried about the quality of care I was receiving. I highly recommend Dr. Dyer for his professionalism and experience in his Neurosurgery field.

Eased my mind...
On my visit with Dr. Dyer, he helped to put my mind at ease. I thought there was a chance of needing to have back surgery, but Dr. Dyer walked me through the MRI images and showed me what was good and what was bad. He help me to understand without confusing me with medical jargon. As a patient, I appreciate that.

Wonderful surgeon
He performed 2 microdecectomies and laminectomies and then a fusion for L4L5. Dr. Dyer has always been reassuring, kind, and professional. Highly recommend him.

Highly recommend Dr. Dyer and his entire team
Dr. Dyer has amazing energy that put me at ease as he explained everything to me. He showed me my MRI and the X-rays and explained how he wouldn't suggest surgery at this time. His staff is supportive, responsive and understanding. It's no fun having back issues, but I am so grateful to have Dr. Dryer and his team on my side. Highly recommend

Neurosurgical Care
Having recently retired from my career as a neurosurgeon, my wife and I re-located to Charlotte. The spinal condition that I have been living with for years worsened requiring a spinal fusion. I was very fortunate to meet Dr. Dyer through a friend’s referral and have been very impressed with him and his staff. His care and compassion and attention to detail have been outstanding. I am now 10 weeks post-fusion with complete resolution of my symptoms and next to no discomfort and back to my normal life. I cannot recommend him more highly.

My brain surgery
Back in 2014 after some severe headaches an MRI revealed I had a 6.2 centimeter tumor on my brain. I was fortunate enough to have Dr Dyer perform this delicate surgery to remove the tumor. Surgery was successful and since then I have had an annual MRI and consultation with Dr Dyer. He is not only a highly skilled surgeon but is very interested in the well being of the patient after surgery. The whole team at Carolina Neurosurgery is caring and professional.

Excellent listener
Dr. Dyer asks probing questions aimed at diagnosing conditions and evaluating post-op progress and explains his opinions clearly. I’ve consulted him twice in a 10-year period on different spinal problems, one requiring surgery and one not, receiving excellent advice each time which led to complete healing. I have every confidence in his judgment and ability should I have spinal issues as I close in on 70.

Back surgery
I have had nothing but great things to say about dr dyer and his staff. Don’t have to wait too long for the appts. Staff is always helpful when I call. He is very straight forward. My surgery went great and I am still recovering at home but I can’t believe how much better I feel already.

Dr. Dyer is a very skilled surgeon as well as a thoughtful and caring one. My spinal fusion of the lower back was done in January and I was cleared to play tennis again four months later. It was a real game changer for me, having been in pain for nearly 10 years. He explained the procedure to me very thoroughly as well as what to expect post-operatively. The surgery was a success. I am a 71 year old female. I would recommend him to anyone.
