Okay, I'm in there with my Partner. My partner would cry out in pain during the examine, and she would say "she such a baby," and turn around and make faces at me.

Dr. Emma D. is a conscientious and exceptional physician. She took more time than normal today to explain my lab results and dexascan. I have a crazy multitude of health problems and felt previously she was dismissive of me, but today she seemed like a lovely soul, and I appreciate that.

As a long time patient, I can say initially, my experience was very good. My opinion has been going down hill for the past several years. She brushes everything off and doesn’t listen. She also is dismissive and doesn’t give attention to questions. I am very disappointed with the deterioration of care.

First thing, reading my MRI reports which lists disk herniations in cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, she flips the pages saying - “that’s nothing.” Then disparages my former doctors. Totally dismisses my pain, “I don’t see why that should give you pain.” She zeros in on my MRI of the knee and 5 or 6 times, tries to convince me to let her give me a cortisone shot! Pokes me a few times, says I have fibromyalgia and gives me RX. After having side effects, I was told not to bother to return.

I was desperately looking for a good doctor to give me answers and guide me through this process. Initially, I loved her and I thought she was going to be able to help me. It turns out she doesn’t listen and can become very rude and impatient. She doesn’t really show any sympathy or listen to you when you tell her your symptoms or side effects of the medication. She refuses to believe that it has anything to do with the medication and laughs at you. :( Sadly going to look for new doctor. Sigh.

Why was the total bill $1,849.00. Yes, our insurance company paid some of it, but $630.00 of it was out of pocket expense for what was labled a significant evaluation. The medical and the business staff disagreed with each other as to the reason for the inflated cost. The doctor assured me the pain in my hip would be gone the next day with the injection she gave me. It didn't work and was told the pain was being caused by my scoliosis lower back pain. I didn't have any lower back pain.

I agree with the previous reviews. I too went to visit her a couple years ago and did not have a good experience....exactly what the others said about her. When I was recently recommend to see her again (and btw she brushed it off like my pain was no big deal and did not care), I looked her name up and saw these reviews, and will definitely not be going back to her! Glad to know to that it wasn't just me who felt the same way!

For some reason, Dr. DiIorio seems to be always in a hurry and does not appear to listen and interact effectively. She also becomes inpatient and agitated when posting health related questions. At times, she even exhibits a rude behavior. In my view, this causes a negative effect with the patient - doctor relationship. Furthermore, if one decides to consult with another doctor within the same practice, Dr. DiIorio becomes offended and blocks any attempts to attain an alternate appointment.

Dr. DiIorio will order test after test. She does not listen and is impatient and can be quite abrupt and rude. She appears to be in a hurry and does not take the time to listen. My experience has been frustrating. Two years of appointments, tests, drugs, and still guessing for a diagnosis. Find someone else!
