Our initial visit with Dr. Reeves was fine. She seemed knowledgeable. I had follow up questions after the visit. After 10 days and multiple messages to the clinic, I kept getting voicemails from her nurses, who were fine, but not answering my questions. With important questions still unanswered, I kindly requested Dr. Reeves call me back. When she did, she was confrontational and rude to me, telling me I had to speak with her nurses only. She accused me of refusing to do so (not true). She said if I had questions I wanted answered, I needed to make an appointment. I am not comfortable with a psychiatrist (or any doctor) who is so unavailable to their patients, and then rude and accusatory when they finally connect. I am so disappointed in Dr. Reeve, and even more disappointed in the clinic staff and nurses who claimed I was refusing to cooperate, when they were failing to answer my questions. I will be looking for another doctor and clinic. If you wish to have a doctor who is available, thorough and helpful, look elsewhere.

I saw Dr. Reeve for 2 years when I was 15 and 16. I had recently moved back to the twin cities and have just gotten my ADHD diagnosis. As someone who had undiagnosed ADD for 15 years, I was very good at masking my symptoms. Dr. Reeve felt that I was "faking ADD symptoms" because I did not match the textbook case of how an adolescent presents ADHD. I have never felt more undermined and belittled by a healthcare professional in my life. I left her office in tears multiple times because of how small she made me feel. I was shocked at how cold and disparaging she was as a female professional toward a young woman struggling with ADHD considering how womens' symptoms often do not align with the textbook ADHD symptoms. If you are looking for a good psychiatrist in the twin cities area I recommend Amy Nygaard. She is very attentive and understanding to any struggles you make be facing.

Dr Reeve is a very knowledgeable doctor in her field and a true professional. I am surprised that some people said they did not connect with her. Our family has been seeing her for over 10 years and feel she is very personable. Not only does Dr. Reeve care about her patients, but it coupled with her vast medical knowledge. I highly recommend Dr. Reeve!

She has a big city experience with a ton of varying diagnosis ability. You are not going to always get Robin Williams to treat you or your child but she is very capable in med therapy but maybe she should be seen with additional counseling. Anyway, that's my take.

Dr. Reeve was the only doctor who diagnosed and provided medication for my daughter's anxiety and OCD. She had no difficulty in communicating with my daughter who has Down Syndrome and understanding her difficulties. My daughter likes her.

I saw Dr. Reeve my entire childhood and dreaded going every single time. My parents were referred to her for my OCD and Trichotillomania. She was one of the only options that knew about Trich. I always left feeling worse about myself, she caused me to have poor body image from talking about my weight and appearance and she was extremely condescending.

Dr Reeve is a very knowledgeable doctor. She is very business like and to the point. I see many reviews saying that they did not connect with her. Please note that she is very helpful and has superior medical knowledge and you have to take the time to get to know her. My daughter has been seeing Dr Reeve for almost 10 years. I liked her so much my second daughter also sees Dr Reeve.

My son has severe autism and was diagnosed two other psychiatrists in a hospital inpatient setting to have bipolar as well. After three years of cycling and I finally demanded that the Rio to college has bipolar diagnosis and give him the appropriate medication rather than just treating him for anxiety. Dr. Reeves was the only Doctor that could help my son with autism. She new what meds he needed to be on and they worked. She always spends the time you need with her, she never pushes you out of the room until you have had all of your questions answered. She is one in a million to our family.

There is a reason she is the go to for children and mental health, especially ASD and ADHD in the Twin Cities. She was great with our young child while being clear and concise. It was clear she was observing with skilled and knowledgeable eyes. We really appreciated her assessment and treatment recommendations. We knew our child was in competent hands.
