Dr. Elizabeth McLarney is an outstanding surgeon. She is highly experienced and very professional, yet approachable and empathetic. My partial knee replacement went perfectly and is feeling great. My knee is functioning completely with total extension, flexion and no pain. Dr. McLarney is strict regarding physical therapy and performing a regimen of specific exercises to enable the absolute best results. I unequivocally know this is why I have recovered so incredibly well. I am so thankful and appreciative to Dr. McLarney, her staff at BMH Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, the nurses and staff at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. They are all extremely knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. I had a wonderful experience throughout my surgery process.

Dr. McLarney has done both of my knee replacements, repaired a complete tear of my rotator cuff, and nursed me through a spiral fracture in my humerus--all with excellent results. She is an exceptionally talented surgeon with a warm personality. A rare combination. She really listens, and explains everything. No need to go to Dartmouth as long as she's working at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.

Best Dr In Brattleboro hands down. She could be practicing at a world class hospital. Brattleboro is lucky to have her. No need to go anywhere else. I have very good insurance and could of gone to Dartmouth,Boson or any other specialist.I trust Dr McClarney. Her infection rate is the lowest of any of the major hospitals I mentioned. This was my deciding factor.

Dr McLarney was amazing!! Had ACL & MCL reconstructive surgery and a few pieces of chipped bone removed. I put this off for so long as I was terrified but meeting with Dr. M she explained in detail exactly what my surgery and recovery time would entail!! 12 weeks later, no crutches, no brace and able to go back to the gym.

Living with two detached tendons on my rotator cuff for a number of months, Dr. McLarney's team was able to move me through the hoops and get me two surgical repair in good time, even through the pandemic. She was great to talk with and crystal clear in her explanations and was confident in her prognosis for me to make a full recovery. I am very pleased with everything about this work with Dr. McLarney, and would recommend her skills as a surgeon and diagnostician to anyone looking for help with shoulders and knees.

Dr McLarney performed emergency femur fracture surgery on my left hip(from a bicycle accident. She inserted 3 concatenated screws(via wires) making only 3 small incisions in my hip. The results were excellent(no seeping, external blood loss, etc) and my PT is going very well. I might also mention that she did this late on a friday afternoon, post accident! Great job Dr McLarney!!
