I was a patient of Dr. Goren for the last 8 years and found that he lived up to his reputation as the top endocrinologist in the Lansdale area despite what some might consider a brusque manner. I also have never had any problems with his staff. Yes, the long waits are annoying (get an early appointment!) but that is not the staff's fault. Things have gotten much worse since Einstein took over. They are the one's who pushed Dr. Goren into retirement and left many of us with no doctor.

Was a patient of Dr Goren for 13 years. Called today to make my yearly appt and fill my Synthroid. Guess what? He's no longer with the practice and hasn't been for 5 months. The office never notified me. Oh and... they aren't taking any new patients anymore who were previous patients and will not fill my script. He was always late -yes... but he was thorough and took his time and LISTENED during his time with his patients. Staff took the last star.

Dr. Goren consistently over schedules and has no regard for his patient's time. Waiting up to 1.5-2 hours is not infrequent. Absolutely switching to a more considerate doctor.

Dr Goren has no care regarding the timelessness of his appointments. Waited over 1 hour 15 minutes for my appointment after scheduled time. Office staff is unaccomdating and rude. One unfortunate patient had an accident and relieved himself while sitting and waiting. Another patient informed the desk staff in a quiet manner about the urine covered chair one hour later the chair is still in the same location with no one from the staff taking any action. Simply unacceptable medical care.

Dr. Goren sees you once a year and if you have a problem in the meantime, he is very hard to get an appt. with. When you do have an appt., be prepared to wait at least an hour or more in the waiting room. Very dissatisfied him. They cancelled me once due to the weather and I had to wait another 6 months for an appt. and my blood work was not normal.

Have seen Dr. Goren for many years; the most knowledgeable and involved ENDO I have ever worked with as a patient. Extremely detailed, spends all the time required at every visit. Some support staff issues/others are great; waits are usually long (because he takes time), but worth it. Would not change for anything.

He was rude and abrupt. He took one look at me and said I didn't have any thyroid issues but he did run bloodwork, which did then show I had Hashimoto's. So he had his receptionist call and leave a message telling me I had Hashimoto's and to come back in a year. He didn't even have the courtesy to call me himself and explain why he wasn't going to treat me for this even though I was having severe joint pain and fatigue, hair loss, edema, etc.
