What People Say About Dr. Elana Eisner, MD

There's not a lot I can say that's favorable. Dr. Eisner, seemed nice, but brought a "medical-transcriptionist"who recorded my symptoms incorrectly. And, I had to call them to get my diagnosis, given by a very rude lady who claimed to be a NP, she didn't seem to know basic medicine. They charged $372 for one visit. Medicare paid $195, so I was stuck for $177, which--forgetting what medicare paid--is way more than I've ever been charged for a simple exam. Obviously, I won't be back.

Dr. Eisner is a wonderful Rheumatologist. She is a great listener and extremely knowledgeable about illnesses/diseases that have co-current arthritic presentations, such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease or other autoimmune diseases. This wide-range of knowledge is extremely helpful for those of us with more than one diagnoses. I readily recommend her and the practice is extremely well run and managed, too, which is important when dealing with insurance companies, these days.
