After being a patient for more than 15 years, I never see her. Now she has new Dr’s seeing me. She is never in her office. I have always been healthy, but in the last 3 years I have had different issues and have been in & out of hospitals (that I have gone into ER on my own because of pain). Not once has she had the decency to check on me. You leave her office messages for results or approvals for specialist & they never return your calls. I am at the end of my life & she doesn’t care. Sad!!!

I really like Dr. Barish. The problem is you can't get through her staff to get anything done. You can leave numerous messages but the calls are never returned. You can never get a real person to pick up the phone, just voice mails with no responses.

I switched to Dr Barish after my original doctor left the practice. It had been almost a year and I found the front desk staff new and very friendly!!! (This was a concern I had had previously with the other staff.) Dr Barish was very patient friendly and made me feel very comfortable as did her assistant Tom. I have not needed an urgent appointment, so I did not rate that.

Dr. Barrish really listens to her patients and asks pertinent questions so she can understand what the issue at hand is. Dr. Barrish makes you feel very comfortable so you are relaxed during the exam. When a patient feels relaxed they are better able to communicate. Feeling comfortable and being able to communicate with your physician is win win for both the patient and the physician!

Dr Barish is caring, sensitive to patients needs. Takes her time to listen to the concerns of her patients and does the best she can to provide referrals to necessary specialties for the best treatment of her patients. Has computer system and easy access to pt records. She is knowledgeable and refferes patients when concerns are out of her scope. Friendly and compassionate of the struggles with chronic complaints. Some difficult for appts, however if you have a standing appt they try to schedule

Dr. Barish is a good physician, but the office experience and staff work performance is awful. Phone calls and messages do not reach her. Prescriptions are not filled for patients or pharmacies for days - current request is over a week now. Records are not updated in their computers leading to errors, staff can be rude, long wait for appointments to start. High staff turnover without improvement. Dr. Barish should consider a different practice. PPC desperately needs new management/ownership.
