Horrible bedside manner! I’ve never in my life been talked to like this by a doctor.. I was at UTMB to see a psychiatrist for the first time, and he inexplicably brought Dr. Harvey in the room towards the end of the appointment. I don’t know why. Two weeks prior, my amazing PCP had started me on a new medication, and I was happy to report that I was already feeling improvements. Well, Dr. Harvey then belittled and mocked me for my past substance abuse problems, pointing what little progress I’ve made. She talked down to me like I’m a child, and even said she would change my medication regimen, which fortunately did not happen. I never made a follow up appointment. This was almost three years ago, and I hope she has learned to be less condescending towards patients since then

She kept me on a high dosage of bupropion despite it exacerbating my chronic migraines. To compensate, she gave me a higher dosage of topiramate; a very common side effect of topiramate is decreased cognitive function. I was having worse migraine and functioning poorly in school, but she wouldn't change my medications even when I asked! Please, avoid this doctor.

RUN FROM THIS WHACK JOB I have made several phone calls to your office in an effort to speak with you about your report dated March 16, 2018. You have not taken my phone calls nor have you returned my phone calls. I would hope that you would have an interest in producing a factually accurate and correct evaluation, using factual statements that I used or accurate statements that I made to you. In reading your report it seems that you have misunderstood, misheard or heard incorrectly what that I

Her after decades of practice was involved w patient taken off daily 60mg of Adderall, she told family that the patient was not motivated, unengaged, slept too much, had no enthusiasm and did not apply himself. The family threw in the towel on him. He was transferred to an arbitrary halfway house in FL w mostly schizophrenics. Please research “wash out off Adderall” “Adderall cold turkey” & in two minutes you will know why the patient could barely keep his eyes open for almost three months.
